============================= MineA5 Troubleshooting Guide ============================= .. _minea5_troubleshooting_network: Failure to start pushing the stream ------------------------------------ 1. Verify your 4G antenna is connected to the right SMA connector. 2. Verify that your camera is connected to a 4G network, has strong signal reception, and has data service: * Check the status of blue LED next to "4G" on the left side of the camera: * Blinking blue = Trying to connect to a 4G network * Solid blue = Connected to a 4G network * Check the signal strength on the home page of the touch screen: * Less than 2 bars = the signal reception at your location may not be good enough * > 3 bars = the signal reception at your location is good enough * Check the color of the dot on top of the signal bars: * ⚪ Grey dot = Initializing the 4G connection * 🟡 Yellow dot = Trying to connect to a 4G network. * 🟢 Green dot = Connected to a 4G network and has data service. * 🔴 Red dot = Connected to a 4G network but has NO data service (ex: your card has no data service activated or you've reached a data service limit.) .. figure:: _static/images/minea5/minea5_4g_status.png :align: center :width: 40% 3. Verify that your MyRaces.Live Stream Event Infra Status is "ready". If it shows "Deploying", wait another for 1/2 minutes until it shows "Ready". 4. Verify your :ref:`RTMP URL stream destination ` is configured correctly (it's easy to make a typo). 5. Try to start pushing the stream a couple of times ( if you have deployed stream events back to back, it may take a bit of time for the RTMP hostmame to resolve to the latest deployed infra). 6. Try restarting the camera. .. Note:: If your camera still cannot connect to the 4G network, you can try to manually set the APN name of your provider under the Settings > Network > 4G > 4G-1/4G-2 APN settings: * Turn off the manual APN mode * Fill in the name of your Wireless Provider APN manually in the "access point" field (for ex, Verizon APN Name is "vzwinternet" while AT&T uses "ENHANCEDPHONE" or "NXTGENPHONE" or "BROADBAND"). * Keep the "username" and "password" fields empty!! * Save the settings. * Restart the camera. No Audio --------- Confer :ref:`minea5_audio_setup` for detailed instructions on how to enable the external microphone. 1. Verify that your external microphone is properly plugged into the camera's microphone input (and not the headphone output). 2. Try unplugging and re-plugging the microphone to see if the camera recognizes it. 3. In camera touch screen, verify the audio bars are moving up and down as you talk
